One of a tiny handful of recording complexes built this century British Grove is built to an uncomprimisingly high specification. Construction took three years and involved a complete structural rebuild of the premises, including installing a sheet steel cage within the walls and flooring to shield the equipment from possible electromagnetic radiation.

Surprisingly a predominately analogue facility it houses a massive Neve 88R in studio 1, an only slightly smaller customised API Legacy in Studio 2 and, in beautiful fully working condition, not one but two historical EMI desks from the 1960's.

The EMI TG12345 used to record "Band on the Run" in Lagos and the only surviving example of the legendary EMI REDD51.

This is a rare chance to see these analogue era icons not in a museum setting but, at the heart of a thriving studio.

British Grove is a busy commercial operation so we could only organise this visit at relatively short notice so as not to interfere with their bookings schedule.

Spaces are strictly limited so, put the date in your diary and make a trip to Chiswick on the afternoon of Friday 23rd for an experience you won't forget.
