For the first time ever, the event was designed purely for a remote audience and connected multiple sites across the city, including the Shard, London Bridge, The O2, Wembley Stadium and Tower Bridge.
It required synchronised cooperation between multiple teams in remote locations for lighting, pyrotechnics, animation of hundreds of drones, music, PA and TV coverage. The live event was kept under wraps until Big Ben rang in the New Year.
